Warm Ears Music have only been around just over a year, however in that time they have been firmly cementing their melodious sound gaining due respect from across the scene. Polish drum & bass stalwart and Warm Ears regular, Radicall, returns to the label for their latest release and his second for them.
Radicall’s style infuses funky tech against deeper atmospheric tones producing a truly unique sound. The 4 track EP ‘Lost in Time’ follows up his release earlier in March on Warm Ears which left us buzzing to hear more from this talented producer.
Leading the release, ‘Your Love’ sets the mood straight away. Vibes from the off, the listener is immersed in the powerful emotion that oozes from this track – classy work! Up next ‘Lost in Time’ switches the style, drawing you in initially with a catchy drum loop then dropping into this moody bass line roller that will have your head firmly in motion with that beat.
‘When It’s Dark Out’ combines elegant percussion with soulful vocals and melodies to produce another liquid masterpiece. Last on this dynamic EP is ‘Reincarnation’ and it’s the pick of the lot for me. A throwback to good old days of neurofunk, with the emphasis here firmly placed on the ‘funk’. There is only one word to describe this track. Epic. And you know it’s going to be just that when the intro is in excess of 3 mins long! Seriously though, what a truly epic piece of music.
Yet again Radicall has come through with the goods. This latest EP showcases his immense production skills that span the spectrum of drum & bass. ‘Lost in Time’ is out on Monday (16/10/2017) so make sure you head over to the Warm Ears website and buy this immense set of tracks.
