While punters avidly await WHP‘s undoubtedly extensive & inimitable programming schedule for 2020, details of their ‘OFF-SEASON‘ event series have been released – including the final Manchester performance from recently retired super force; Noisia.
Housed in various venues across the city, WHP presents a multitude of shows in anticipation of their return this summer, most of which will be taking place in the Concourse room at Depot. Part of a £1 billion regeneration project to showcase a diverse program of arts, music, industry, culture and community events within the city – the 10,000 capacity venue for culture is located at Manchester’s historic former railway Mayfield.
This Friday, the event space will house some of the industry’s finest, including DRS, Fixate, Spectrasoul, Truthos Mufasa, Sparkz, Skittles, Fox, Mefjus, T-Man & Icicle and the final Manchester performance from NOISIA – a monumental event in itself & the end of an era for fans of the Dutch trio.
Ahead of this Friday’s landmark event, we asked Fixate to flex out on the decks & give us a taste of what to expect from the Exit Records regular. A flagship artist for the label, this hour-long mix is as multi-faceted as the technical prowess displayed by its curator & represents the full spectrum of Fixate’s unique style & selections.
Details of the full WHP ‘OFF-SEASON‘ programming can be found here, and tickets for Friday’s historic showcase can be found on the WHP site here.
