Being a die-hard fan of drum and bass means you have to keep up with all aspects whether that’s artists, tunes, events or labels. And it being the flourishing yet tastefully underground scene that it is means a lot of these things come around and very often! One such newcomer is technical dnb imprint ‘Concussion Records’. Who off the back of 2 really solid releases from the likes of NickBee and Kantyze have created a nice buzz around them for a strong starting point.
For their latest release Concussion 003, they have called upon Austrian neuro producer Bowsar who is no stranger to the genre at all, having collaborated with the likes of Mefjus, Dementia, Wintermute and many more to deliver a precise, dancefloor-aimed number called ‘Hemisphere’ that’s sure to get even the most timid of ravers moving.
On the flip we have a remix of the title track itself by none other than New Zealands very own tech monster, Dose. Taking the core elements of the track but instead of the punchy, precise feel he`s smoothed it over with a bit more of a rolling vibe but don’t fret, in true Dose style, it still holds serious weight! This release is out now, go and support by heading over to Concussions digital outlet and bagging a copy!
