This the first EP of 2015 from the Zurich based stable Demand Records, and there teaming up with the 24 year old polish based producer Karol Ziober AKA Mortem.
Mortem is making big waves with his production skills which have seen him getting releases on Critical Music, Metalheadz, IM:LTD and of course Demand Records, and I have to say what a way to kick things off for 2015.
So about the A side – Midnight Analogs.
It starts of with a nice minimal landscape intro with a lovely male vocal build up, but then you meet up with the hard stabs of the break and then we are launched hard into a heavy hitting futurist roller with a twisting bassline that will guarantee destroy your subs and have your head nodding without you knowing it.

Onto the AA side – Y.O.U
This starts in the same fashion as the A side with a smooth male vocal and dreamy pads, but the break is not so much in your face. Mortem wants to take you on a much deeper ride here, with a soulful, beautiful atmospherics, but with twisted ever changing baseline over the top to keep the track rolling along nicely.
A solid release for Mortem and sits well in Demand Records sound blueprint.
