A pivotal part of the Jungle & D&B scene in the early days was spent down at Music House, the go-to spot to get your latest tunes cut onto Dubplate. Leon Chu, was the Dubplate engineer at Music House and cut dubs for pretty much every tune you would hear played by anyone around at that time. Grooverider, Fabio, Goldie, Hype, Andy C. The list goes on. Music house wasn’t just a place to get your tunes cut, it was like going to the school of music.
Still to this very day he had been continuing his passion in cutting plates moving to a new location in Tottenham Hale. Sadly, we heard the news yesterday that he has passed away. It’s a huge lost to the scene and will be sorely missed. RIP Leon
