KLAX & ENEI – Questions EP [CRITICAL MUSIC]

Setting the pace for the year ahead, two of Critical Music’s finest have had a meeting of minds and from it curated the imprint’s latest release – the ‘Questions EP’.

The Brighton based tech-trio Klax and Russian heavyweight Enei have combined forces to deliver four flawless, dance floor ready cuts. The release caters for all; lovers of steppers can enjoy the heavily groove-based synth & drums of the title track ‘Questions’, or for those who prefer a techier flex, there’s the hard-hitting, tech-infused weapon –  ‘Scraps’.

‘Statik’ ticks the deep and minimal boxes – blending low-end frequencies with tight drums & clever sound design but the standout track for me is ‘The Prediction’ – with its huge synth, wrapped around layers of thick pads & dark melodies. Another top Critical release that has set the bar for the year to come.
