In just over two weeks, on Saturday 18th August, Elrow Town London returns after the staggering success of their debut festival that saw 25,000 people flock to London’s iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park last August.
Promising to raise the bar even higher for 2018, the immersive debut festival saw a bunch of high-profile artists play to a pack-out crowd from a colossal multi-story tower-block stage, while giant puppets, enormous inflatables and even a twenty-foot high mechanical camel dazzled partygoers beneath a monsoon of streamers and confetti. The dual-themes this year are Sambodromo Do Brasil & Psychedelic Trip, so navigating through the crowd is going to be… fun.
With 26 festivals in the bag to-date, Elrow Town London 2018 aims to build on the success of last year, so we’re heading down on the Sunday to see what all the fuss is about and maybe pick up a game or two of giant-inflatable-volleyball.
With the likes of Fatboy Slim, Mele and Shy FX & Dynamite MC (who we just caught at Farr Fest) playing on the Sunday, we can’t for the life of us see how the Sunday isn’t sold out, I personally think the Monday hangover will be worthwhile. Here’s the full line-up:

Hopefully this unbelievably beautiful heatwave will hold out until then and the sun will be shining so I can make the most of my Notting Hill Carnival get-up by wearing it twice in one year (nice).
One thing that I’m intrigued by are these ‘tourists’ implemented by Elrow, who go around freaking people out. I’ve only heard of that at Boomtown before, and it sounds like a laugh.
